Just to let you know (incase you haven't seen it advertised), there is a wonderful program being aired on ABC1 on 22 May.
There has been an enormous posthumous revival of the work of Patrick White in the lead up to the 100th anniversary of his birth. So much so, that Text Publishing (Melbourne) are reprinting his, and other Australian Classical works this year in paperback ($12.95).
The Artscape program: Patrick White - Will They Read Me When I'm Dead, airs at 10pm and outlines the Nobel-prize winner's life through interviews with fans, critics and interviews with Patrick White himself.
He is an Australian genius ... watch it!!
